Anne Alexander
Anne is a retired Services Manager for AT&T. She and husband Bill moved to Osburn in 2005 and she became co-owner of D & G Bakery in Wallace in 2009. She has been a Historic Wallace Chamber member since 2009 and has served on the Board of Directors since 2011. She supports Chamber events in myriad ways and is in her second year as co-chair of the Historic Wallace Accordion Festival.
Bonnie DeRoos
Janet Feiler
An Idaho native, Janet had a 40-year career in newspapers and school public relations before retiring to Wallace in 2010. She and her husband own A Comfy Cottage vacation rental and are vendors at Tabor’s Emporium. She represents the Silver Valley on the Hospice of North Idaho Board of Directors, and is on the boards of the Silver Valley Thrivent Chapter and Silver Valley Community Concert Association.
Mike Feiler
Mike is a 49-year resident of Idaho, retired after a 34-year newspaper career and eight years in volunteer management. He has owned a home in Wallace since 2003 and has been a Chamber member since 2004. He became a fulltime Wallace resident in 2010 and was elected Chamber President this year. He is co-owner of a vacation rental and enjoys photographing Wallace events and North Idaho scenery.
Art Fleming
Heather Litz
Heather has lived and worked in the Silver Valley for 10 years and has been an active member of the Historic Wallace Chamber through her employer, American West Bank, for the past eight years. She served as Board treasurer for 2011 and was re-elected to that office for 2012. She is a familiar face at various events, often sporting a purple cowboy hat as the reigning “Huckleberry Sheriff.”
James McMillan
A 15-year resident of the Silver Valley, James has had a law practice in Wallace since 2007. He graduated from Wallace High School in 1999 and earned his Bachelor’s and Law Degrees from University of Idaho. A Chamber Board member since 2009, he is active in numerous community organizations and serves as Vice Chair of the Shoshone County Planning and Zoning Commission.
Anita Price
Anita is a retired Virginia and Idaho music teacher of 34 years and past owner of “Keys to Music” School. She now enjoys owning the Price Tag Antiques and Silver Tea Room and participating in the Wallace community, as well as serving as a substitute teacher in the area. A member of the Historic Wallace Marketing Group and past president of the WBCA, she is currently the Chamber’s vice president.
Dr. Robert “Bob” Ranells
Bob’s career includes 18 years as school superintendent in Idaho and Washington, the past six as Superintendent of Schools for Wallace District 393. He has been a Chamber of Commerce member in various communities since 1978 and understands how important an active and vibrant Chamber is to the success of a community and school district. He is in his third year on the Wallace Chamber Board.
Mary “Mitzi” Scheel
Mitzi was born in Wallace, raised in Mullan and graduated from Mullan High School. She has lived in the Silver Valley for all her life except two years in Alaska. Mitzi has been employed at Good Samaritan Silver Wood Village in Silverton for 32 years. During her 12 years on the Wallace Chamber Board, she has served in every officer position and has chaired numerous Chamber and community events.
