Depot Days and Classic Car Show

May 12, 2007

What started as a day of the excitement of watching the Northern Pacific Railroad Depot being moved in 1986, this festival has grown to an all-day extravaganza. Visitors can stroll among over 300 Classic Cars throughout the Historic Downtown area. Meet the owners and maybe even buy the car of your dreams! Included in the festivities are craft and food vendors, activities for kids, and live entertainment on the Gazebo.
Depot Foundation event runs the Saturday before Mother’s Day.

Gyro Days and Lead Creek Derby

June 14-16 2007

A long-standing tradition, this event involves a family carnival on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Time chances are sold in anticipation of the giant “beach” ball reaching its destination. Visitors can watch the ball’s progress as it tumbles along the clear water of the South Fork of the Coeur d Alene River between Mullan and Wallace. Gyro event runs the third weekend of June. High Mountain ATV Jamboree 

July 15-21, 2007

Family fun is in store for you during this six day event. Enjoy our beautiful scenery during the hosted trail rides including an overnight campout. Participate in the ATV Rodeo, parade complete with prizes, and other fun events. The festival ends with the Awards Ceremony and Steak-Fry dinner. All activities are designed to include all ages and abilities for your family’s enjoyment. The High Mountain ATV Club hosts the event. For more information call 208-512-2269

  Good Sam Bike Jam

 August 14, 2007

Ride the Trail of the Coeur d Alenes and help the residents of the Silver Wood Good Samaritan Center at the same time.  Cyclists will be riding 10 miles from Mullan to Silverton ending with a BBQ and T-shirt (free to bikers)!  There are two ways to join the fun.  Per- mile sponsorships or register for $10.00. Gather your friends and neighbors and enjoy the beautiful trail.  100% of the profit will go towards wheelchair bicycles to enable the residents to also enjoy the

Trail of the Coeur d Alenes.  Shuttles will be available to take cyclists up to Mullan. All the fun begins at 5:00 PM (from Silverton) for Trolley pick up and 6:00 PM from the Mullan Trailhead. BBQ will begin at 7:00 PM at the Center.  Those who are not biking but wish to join the BBQ cost will be $5.00/plate. Non-riders can also purchase a T-shirt for $5.00.

Huckleberry/Heritage Festival & 5K Fun Run

August 17-18, 2007

Huckleberry Sheriff and Huckleberry Hound will reign during this exciting two-day event that features activities for the whole family. Shop for unique items our craft vendors offer on the lawn of the NP Depot Museum, enjoy tantalizing food while listening to live entertainment on the Gazebo, learn about our past through hands-on displays. Witness the dedication of Historic Mining Equipment at the Visitor Center. Relish each mouth-watering bite of Huckleberry Pancakes sponsored by the Rotary Club. Feel the exhilaration of competitors getting ready for the annual 5 K Run. Huckleberry Bake-Off contestants vie for the prize as they “whip” up special Huckleberry creations.  This festival runs Fri-Sat the third week of August. Chamber event.

Silver Valley Wide Auction to benefit Historic Wallace and Historic Silver Valley Chambers of Commerce.  Evening of entertainment, tailgate dinner, silent and live auction.  Lots of fun for everyone.  Our own cheerleaders will keep the "stadium" roaring with cheers and the auctioneer "referee" will make sure all players bid the highest!

Silver Valley Art & Craft Fair

Come one and all to the biggest art/craft fair in the Silver Valley.  Over 100 vendors will show their unique talent in handcrafted items.  From jams and jewelry to woodcarving and figurines you will find something for everyone on your Christmas Shopping List!

The Silver Valley Crafters will be raffling off their Handmade Felted Wool Quilt and along with lots of door prizes and good food to purchase this event will be fantastic. This is definitely a Fun Family affair. Free Admission and Parking
