Depot Days and Classic Car Show
What
started as a day of the excitement of watching the
Northern Pacific Railroad Depot being moved in 1986,
this festival has grown to an all-day extravaganza.
Visitors can stroll among over 300 Classic Cars
throughout the Historic Downtown area. Meet the owners
and maybe even buy the car of your dreams! Included in
the festivities are craft and food vendors, activities
for kids, and live entertainment on the Gazebo.

Strike $5000.00 Reverse Drawing Historic Wallace Chamber of Commerce $5000.00 Giveaway will be held May 15, 2009 at the Wallace Elks. Tickets are $50.00 per couple and only 250 tickets will be sold. Gyro Days and Lead Creek Derby
A
long-standing tradition, this event involves a family
carnival on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Time chances
are sold in anticipation of the giant “beach” ball
reaching its destination. Visitors can watch the
ball’s progress as it tumbles along the clear water of
the South Fork of the Coeur d'Alene River between Mullan
and Wallace. Gyro event runs the third weekend of June.

Family fun is in store for you during this six day event. Enjoy our beautiful scenery during the hosted trail rides including an overnight campout. Participate in the ATV Rodeo, parade complete with prizes, and other fun events. The festival ends with the Awards Ceremony and Steak-Fry dinner. Huckleberry Sheriff and Huckleberry Hound will reign during this exciting two-day event that features activities for the whole family. Shop for unique items our craft vendors offer on the lawn of the NP Depot Museum, enjoy tantalizing food while listening to live entertainment on the Gazebo, learn about our past through hands-on displays. Witness the dedication of Historic Mining Equipment at the Visitor Center. Relish each mouth-watering bite of Huckleberry Pancakes sponsored by the Rotary Club. Feel the exhilaration of competitors getting ready for the annual 5 K Run. Huckleberry Bake-Off contestants vie for the prize as they “whip” up special Huckleberry creations. This festival runs Fri-Sat the third week of August. Chamber event. Don't miss the action packed excitement of the Huckleberry Festival bike races! Saturday's races begin at 9:00 am with the First Annual Dobson Pass Hill Climb. Not for the faint of heat, this challenging course will see road riders battle the formidable steeps of Dobson Pass with cash and prizes to category winners.

Annual Huckleberry Festival Criteriums will be on tap
featuring the fastest racers in the Northwest.
This "GRAND PRIX" style bicycle race will follow a
course through Historic Downtown Wallace for lap after
lap of high speed thrills with lots of cash and
prices. This is a MUST SEE EVENT!
